So here is what I thought. First…these are the SMALL images ($5.95…you REALLY can’t beat that!). I thought “well, of course you need to get a black spider…it will be perfect for a spooky candy jar”. So I go to Michael’s and buy the cylinder jar and then I found the cool odd shaped one that I thought would be perfect for the image and bought that with my 40% off coupon (I think it was like $12.99 regular price - the other was around $3 or $4 - not bad - it’s the largest of the cylinder jars they had). So I washed them good, put my black one on the ‘cool’ jar as a candy jar and filled it with some Twix (the candy of choice of my DH!). Well…DANG!!! You couldn’t see Spidey AT ALL!!! I honestly thought it would show up great with the fall colored candy behind it but it didn’t.
Next I washed the cylinder jar, dried it good and then put the white one on. I transferred those Trix from the one jar to the other and VOILA…looks GREAT!!! So now I have this really cool jar with black Spidey on it and Staci said she was going to use hers for a candle holder and I thought…that a GREAT idea! Now we don’t ‘do candles’ here at our house so I got my battery operated ‘candle and put it in the bottom and then filled it with the shiney shredded stuff and COOOOOOL!!! I tried really had to get a picture of it with the lights out but my camera didn’t want to cooperate. You can sort of see it there on the bottom but with the lights out the shiney shredded stuff sort of glows and you can really see the black spider.
So…that’s the saga of Spooky Spidey! The home decor element are just SOOO easy to use and not just for walls!
Happy Stampin’ or in this case applying vinyl decor elements!

Hi Mary,
Love your jars. On someones blog they said they were going to put green apples in theirs. That would be a lot cheaper than candy. So far I’ve only filled mine up not even half way.
