Tomorrow is my Cupcakes with a surprise inside class!  Hmmm….I might need to go get some cupcakes to serve.  That would be fun!  Anyway, we are doing 4 different cupcake cards and although the outside is nice, there is a fun surprise inside each one.  Now I’ll be honest, this one was based on a card shown at convention.

In fact, the outside is almost exactly like the one at convention except I added a layer under the cupcake image and used different dsp.  I have to admit, I’m REALLY liking the Kraft paper.  I had a pack for a long time and never used it but find I’m reaching for it more and more these day.  The dsp is Bella Rose.  I like the gingham look for this card.  The other thing I really like is using the chunky glitter on the cupcakes.  YUMMY!!!!  So what’s the surprise inside?

Now I know this isn’t anything too wild or crazy but I know I often tend to ignore the inside of the card.  Before putting the strip on the bottom I stamped the balloon image from the Crazy for Cupcake set.  I also stamped the balloon on the dsp and cut it out.  I think the added strip of chocolate chip cardstock really finishes it off inside.  So…a fun little card to say “Happy Birthday” to someone special!

Now don’t forget…these fun cupcake sets are on sale the month of October.  Buy $20 in merchandise and get the sets for 20% off.  And also, you can purchase one AquaPainter (a must have) for only $7.25!  Gotta love it.  Stay tuned for more of the cards from class.  Until then…Happy Stampin’!
