The Holiday Mini is coming!!!  (Okay…most of you should have it by now!)  When I got the mini I absolutely fell in LOVE with Season of Friendship.  Okay so I have a thing for trees!

I made this for a ‘chat and challenge’ I participated in on SUDSOL (a demo board).  They gave us a 6x6 scrapbook layout and I used it as my basis for this card.  Isn’t that paper delightful?  It is Juntos from our new Spanish catalog.  (Some of the pattern do include words in spanish on it…it is such a beautiful fall pack!)  The colors in this pack are More Mustard, Really Rust, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla so that is what I used.  It is difficult to see in the scan but the ribbon is actually Always Artichoke and not chocolate chip but you could use chocolate chip if you wanted to!  On the bird I offset the circles, I think it gives it a little more interest.  Someone commented that it made it look like a nest.  Hmmm….I thought that was interesting even though I wasn’t thinking about that at all!  Oh…the card size is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4.  Be on the look out for more samples using this tree.  You will be surprised at just how versatile it is!
