Seaside Diamonds
I REALLY like the Seaside set. I think the shell images are just SOOO beautiful! Here’s another card I made using my cuttlebug for the background.
I don’t know why but lately I’ve been into using minimal color (don’t worry...next card will have LOTS of color on there!). For this card, I used my rough diamonds folder on some watercolor paper. I liked the textured look of the paper to begin with and the embossing just made it better! The images is also stamped on watercolor paper with StazOn JetBlack ink and colored with some Taken with Teal ink. I paper pierced the corners before layering on a piece of Basic Grey. I also paper pierced along the top of the Soft Sky strip above the Soft Sky Double-Stitched ribbon (boy...I sure am going to miss this color and this ribbon!).
I stamped on of the small shells from this set on a piece of Soft Sky paper using Soft Sky ink. Next I stamped ‘for you’ from the NEW Fresh Cuts set on top. I punched this out with the 1 1/4” punch. I then punch a 1 3/8” circle from some watercolor paper and finished it off by layering it on a basic grey scallop. To finish things off, I punched a photo corner out of Soft Sky and layered that under the upper right of the shell image. Add just that little ‘finishing touch’ to the card!
I had such a wonderful time with Connie, Karen and Michelle yesterday! Stayed tuned for some of the cool things we did!
Happy Stampin’!

Mary, Great card. I like the soft colors. I am always looked at this stamp set and thought I would like to have it, but now I know I need it. Thanks for sharing.
