Now I’m not calling this the “perfect bag” because I made it or even thought it up!  This was a bag that was demoed by both Brent and Linda Hansen (may she live forever - sorry Jan Tink…I just HAD to use this here!) at convention.  It was such a wonderful project that I had to play with it one day while I was playing online with my friend Lisa.

I was asked by Splitcoast Stampers to do a product review on the Scor-It.  Those of you who know me know that I have a variety of tools and I do believe they are all good but for different reasons.  Since I needed to make some projects with this tool, and my friend Lisa wanted to ‘play’ and make a bag it worked out perfectly!  Those of you who are my customers will be able to make one of these (not this one - this one I was just messing around with it) at an upcoming class.

When I am working on a new project, I often pull out some of my ‘older’ paper so if I mess it up I don’t feel so bad (sick…SOOOO sick!).  I do LOVE the Summer Picnic paper but I had an over abundance of this particular paper.  So I sat down with my Scor-It (great little tool by the way) and started working on my ‘perfect’ bag!  It was quick and easy.  It is made from 2 pieces of 12 x 12 designer series paper.  Don’t you just LOVE this big cupcake?  It is the PERFECT size for the PERFECT bag!!!  I paper pieced the base and icing parts and also the cherry on the top.  I think it would be fun to use some beads as the ‘sprinkles’ but alas (hmmm…now there’s a word that is underused these days) didn’t have any!

Oh…would you like to read the reviews of the Scor It over on SCS just click here.

Happy stampin’!
