Party Hearty Surprize
And now back to the cupcakes with a surprise inside class. This card used the Party Hearty set (still on sale until the end of the month). I like this card because it could easily be for a guy or gal.
The outside of the card is SOOOOOO simple to make. The base is Baja Breeze. We then stamped a strip of Kiwi Kiss with the party hats (using the Kiwi Kiss ink) and put that on the base. Next was added a strip of the striped paper from the Murfield dsp. Celebrate You was stamped on a strip of very vanilla using the Kiwi Kiss then punched out using the 1 3/4” circle punch. The Pacific Point scallop is the from the Pennant die cut. (I just LOVE how that one layers under the 1 3/4” punch!). The little present was stamped in Pacific Point on a piece of very vanilla and then punched out with the 3/4” punch. It was added with a dimensional. Finally a couple silver brads finished it off.

And now for the ‘surprise inside’. We learned how to do this at convention this year. You punch a circle using the 1 3/4” punch. Then you make it into a spiral. Attach one end to the top and the other to the base. To decorate our spiral we used different sizes and colors of stars. Fun huh?
Boy it sure did rain here yesterday! We haven’t had a good all day rain in I don’t know how long. I was going out to Jamestown last night to help my new downline with her first party and as I was driving there I saw a rainbow! It was one of the really wide ones and it looked like it was coming straight down and not curved. That was different! It’s been years since I saw a rainbow - what a pleasant treat!
I’m off to get ready for my workshop at Staci’s house so until next time…you got it…Happy Stampin’!
