A scrapbook blast

Here’s a scrapbook page I had made using this set.  Again...I was still thinking this was a flower and was trying to find a way to use it like that.

Okay...first...I have to admit...I LIED!!!  This is NOT a picture from our garden!  We took it on one of our trips (can’t remember where) and it was just easier to say ‘our garden’ then anything else.  You can see once again I used the ‘bow’ as a flower.  I stamped the ‘flowers’ on a piece of the wide twill.  I liked that look for the garden picture.  We use to sell die cut tags and the tags are from that.  I stamped the words with an alphabet set (I think it is classic) and then stamped around the edges with the Canvas background stamp.  Around the flower picture on the garden green I stamped “celebrate summer” with Everyday Expressions.  I used the direct to paper on both the summer sun and the chocolate chip to give it some more depth.  Used lots of the NOW RETIRING aged copper hodgepodge hardware.
