Another Blast!
Okay...so I have a REALLY good story about this one...click to read more!
So I get the set and I think ‘what a fun little birthday set but why would they include a flower pot and flower?” and “why aren’t there any leaves on the stem of the flower?” (so I solved that by drawing them in). Then I thought maybe that wasn’t a flower but a sparkler. That worked too! It wasn’t until I was almost finished making my samples that I realized it wasn’t a flower and flower pot or a sparkler and wonky square but a present with a ribbon with on bow to stamp over it. (They must think I’m a total dork!) So here is my flower and flower pot. The Print Pattern background stamp is also retiring. The “you’re a wonderful reason’ is from Curvy verses.
The colors on this are Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant. You know the saddest thing about Earth Elements? THERE ISN’T ANY PURPLE IN THERE!!!! I mean...that poor color group is just plain DEFECTIVE!!! LOL Celebrate was stamped with Versamark and the embossed with gold. I did some sponging on the Old Olive piece and added some gold brads on there. Oh...did you notice...no ribbon...TWO WHOLE DAYS IN A ROW!!!
Okay...let’s see what shows up tomorrow!

Dork? Nah, I’d say SUPERSTAR! I think it’s terrific when people think outside of the box and come up with an alternative use for a stamp image!
I’ll miss running into you at Convention this year… We’re expecting our second son, so I’ll have to sit this one out. Have fun! Hope to hear all the scoop on your blog when you return!
