Here is another card from my September Card Class.  Isn’t the Pink Pirouette so soft and pretty?  I just love the softness of this card!

First we stamped the “dear, kind, wonderful friend’ on the card base using white CRAFT ink, covered with white embossing powder and head embossed.  Then you take the Pink Pirouette ink and rub it over the embossing.  It is amazing but just that little bit of ink really makes the embossing stand out on the pink base!  Next we randomly stamped the branch image from Eastern Blooms onto a piece of vellum cardstock using white CRAFT ink again, covered with white embossing powder and heat embossed.  I really like using the vellum cardstock.  I have some of the paper vellum but never use it.  It is just too thin and curls way too easily.  I find you really can see through both of them about the same!  After that it is layered onto a piece of Pretty in Pink and then the card base.  The wide Rose grosgrain ribbon hides the tape that is holding the vellum in place.  That’s all there is…another quick and easy card!

Hope all my Ohio friends are safe and have electricity!  I know some of you are still still without power and I hope it gets turned back on soon.  School has been a real challenge this quarter.  First day of class our system crashed and didn’t get restored until Wednesday.  Not with the power outages, many of my students can’t get online to do work.  I was amazed that school was closed for two days but for many of our students their children’s schools were closed and they would not have been able to find babysitters so they could go to school.  I can’t believe it is Thursday already!  WOW!!!  Looking forward to seeing those of you who are coming to the Emergency Card Kit class tomorrow.  I have everything ready to go!

Happy Stampin’!
