Eastern Blooms
Yesterday my friend Tracey sent me a link to THE CUTEST little box (and you know how much I LOVE cute little boxes!) made with the scallop envelop die for my Big Shot. So tonight Lisa and I decided we just HAD to make one! It’s it the cutest!!!!
First to give credit where credit is due…you can find the tutorial for making this here. Jane Matsumoto does such an excellent tutorial on this go visit her site! After much changing my mind, I decided to go with the Urban Garden paper and the scallop envelopes are Baja Breeze. The flowers are from the Eastern Bloom set. I inked with either regular ink or markers, stamped and of course cut out - because THAT is what I do BEST! LOL!!! (Sorry Jackie!) The scallop is punched from Going Grey (I always forget about that color) with a whisper white circle on top of it. Finally I used some Baja Breeze striped grosgrain ribbon to finish it off because ALL projects MUST have ribbon! You can see the box the Lisa create here. Oh and then my friend Connie saw that Lisa and I were do it and joined in the fun. You can find Connie’s cute box here.
Isn’t this just the CUTEST!!!! Now about that Scallop Envelop die…this is one of the Stampin’ Up! exclusive dies that are available now for purchase. Need it? Contact me or visit my demonstrator website and use the NEW online ordering feature (click on the SHOP NOW button in the upper right under my name)!
Oh…and remember Eastern Blooms is one of the sets on sale this month (August) for 15% off!
Happy Stampin’ or die cutting if the case may be!
