Every year I make a notebook to give out to folks I see that I know.  I wasn’t going to make one this year until someone mentioned that they wondered what it would look like this year.  So here it is!

I found these ‘weathered’ looking notebooks quite a few years ago at Michael’s.  I figured they have ‘aged’ enough by now to be used - LOL!!!  The colors in the notebook are sort of moss and artichoke so I worked from there added Red Riding Hood and Basic Black along with Very Vanilla...what a pretty color combo and would be GREAT for Christmas cards!  Instead of doing alot of stamping and cutting and layering, I stamped the image with Basic Black CRAFT and covered with clear embossing powder and embossed.  I then used ink and my AquaPainter to color it in.  I stamped the butterfly on the Red Riding Hood using Red Riding Hood ink.  I stamped the verse with the Basic Black CRAFT ink, covered in clear embossing powder and heat embossed.  As with the other one, there was the coluzzle, 1/2” circle punch and then some Very Vanilla 5/8” grosgrain ribbon to finish it off.

Well today will be the last day of the convention!  We finish up around 5 pm.  My friends and I are staying tonight and heading back home bright and early tomorrow.  I’m sure I’ll have lots to share!

Happy stampin’!
