Here’s the 2nd card for my ‘Fab Four’ swap!  I wanted something REALLY simple but a different way to use a set.

The Deer Friends is a Level 2 hostess set for the new catalog.  It is intended to be a Christmas set but since the ‘present’ says “a little something” around the circle...I thought it would be a GREAT birthday card too!  I REALLY like the Pacific Point paper (no...REALLY Cindy...I do!  Wait until you see my control freak swap card!) and it is perfect paired up with the Kiwi Kiss.  I stamped the present randomly in both the Kiwi Kiss and Pacific point and mounted it onto a Kiwi Kiss bass.  I added a piece of Pacific point the I pierced along the top and scallop basic black strip along the bottom.  The Olive 5/8” grosgrain ribbon is a FABULOUS match to the Kiwi!  The only thing that is a little ‘special’ is that after I stamped the blue present for the medallion, I covered with Versamark and then Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat set.  I then punched it out using the 1” punch and layered.

Well today would be our first day with everyone.  By now I have my catalog (and I’m SURE it is fabulous—this being Sunday night though...I haven’t seen it yet) and want to order EVERYTHING in there!  My friends and I would have done our shoebox swap (where we each design a project and have to cut the supplies for everyone else so they can make it themselves) and my friends Lisa and Shona have gone to see the wonderful home office!  (I saw it the first time I went to convention.) So...all in all, I’m sure I’m having a GREAT time!
