While at convention they showed us some of the new Decor Elements that are in part of the second phase.  WOW!!!  The showed us some really cool projects and one of the door prizes as this ‘Thanksgiving’ piece.  Whenever they do a stamping demonstration at convention, one of the items is then a door prize.  Guess what I won????

One of my very favorite Stampin’ Up! staff and presenters is Linda Hansen.  She is the one that did the new decor elements presentation and made this wonderful shadowbox frame with this vinyl decor elements.  I LOVED her project and when I won I just KNEW I would have to make one.  The one she made didn’t have as much color in there (her leaves were toward the bottom and she did a white/ivory paper in the back.

I got the shadowbox frame at Michael’s along with the pretty garland.  I pulled the leaves off and used mostly the yellow ones so that the lettering would show up better.  You could probably use more of the red and green and orange leaves and then use the words in white.  I bet that would show up GREAT!!!  The one we won though was the chocolate so I worked with that.  My friend Bonnie helped me with where to put the berries and gave me the ‘thumbs up’ on the overall layout of the leaves.  The leaves (and berry branches) are hot glued onto the back.

I’m not sure when the new Decor Elements will be available (wait until you see the Christmas ones!) but stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted!  My NEW stuff arrived on Thursday...OH...it is ALL SOOOO wonderful!!!  Can’t wait to share it with all of you who are coming to my open house!

Happy Stampin’!
