Bright Delights Rub Ons 1
Okay…so I had this BRIGHT idea to do a class using the Bright Delight rub ons. I thought is was a really good idea and so I started designing cards with them. Here’s the first one. I’ll explain in my NEXT posting why it turned out being NOT a good idea to do a class using these. In the meantime…enjoy my little ‘mini series’...
Oh I just LOVE the current in colors and will truly miss these when they are gone. I’ve decided though that this year I’m not getting rid of my stuff that has the current in colors in them. In fact…shhhhhh…don’t tell…I’ve bought EXTRA!!!! Anyway, the base of this card is Kiwi Kiss (I {heart} Kiwi Kiss). The dsp is from Good Morning Sunshine (yep…another retiring paper!). The delightful tree is from the Bright Delights Rub Ons (you got it…another retiring item - *sigh*). The hearts on the tree are separate rub ons…I just wanted a little extra color on the tree. LOVE is a rub on that I put on some Good Morning Sunshine dsp and then punched with the scallop oval punch and layered onto a chocolate chip wide oval punch. I attached a riding hood red button using some linen thread (okay…I have issues with NAKED buttons so I ALWAYS have to put some thread in there!). This is layered onto some chocolate chip and then I tied some of the Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain ribbon around it (can you say LOVE IT!!!) So that’s all there is to the card. The rub ons make it nice and easy!
Stay tuned for my other two cards I made using my rub ons. Now if I could only FIND where I put the rest of them (I should NEVER clean my desk off…no…really I shouldn’t!) I might even make some more!
Oh…I’m going to be participating in two blog hops featuring retiring stamps (and accessories). Stay tuned…they are going to be good ones! Happy Stampin’!

The cards are great. I tend to forget to us rubons. It was good to hear someone else has naked button issues, I thought I was the only one.
