Big Bold Cupcake
A while back I saw this wonderful card posted by Sharon Johnson on notimetostamp. I immediately thought of my new ‘candy cane’ ribbon in the Holiday Mini and decided to pull it out to make my card.
The riding hood red card base is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4. I really do like square cards and think they are so much fun to create with. I stamped the small image from the set using riding hood red to create the background. The only other colors are very vanilla and chocolate chip. I did stamp the cupcake on scraps using riding hood red and chocolate chip ink and cut out (sorry Jackie - you know it is an addiction with me). I used chocolate chip and ruby red markers to ink the ‘best wishes’ stamp and then my curly label punch to punch it out. It is layered onto the card using dimensionals. I punched a couple holes side by side to get a slot for the ribbon. Oh…the ribbon! This is truly delightful ribbon to use!
So quick and easy…thanks Sharon for your inspiration! Happy Stampin’!
