Well it’s Sunday and time for another Featured Stamper challenge on SU Connection!  This week it is Robin Merriman, one of my favorite stampers!  I just love her work!  I quickly found a very elegant card that I had admired from when she first posted it and used that for my sample.

Robin’s card was white and red and I decided to go with a blue and white look since I just LOVE blue flowers!  Once again you are getting to see a preview of the Awash with Flowers set that will be available in April!  LOVE IT!!!!  This card is so very simple.  The only cardstock used on this is Whisper White.  I did run the one layer through the Big Shot using the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.  I stamped the stem using Basic Grey and then added the leaves with Certainly Celery.  i wanted a ‘softer’ look so I stamped off the celery once before adding it to my image.  The solid part of the flower is stamped with Bashful Blue with the Basic Grey over it.  I decided black would be too harsh with the soft look of this card.  I just love the Basic Grey for that reason!  The ribbon is the Bashful Blue 5/8” Satin ribbon in the Occasion mini.  I created the tags using the Tiny Tags set and the Jewelry Tag punch.  I attached these to the ribbon using a piece of white pearl embroidery floss.
