What is Stamper’s Showcase?  It is a feature on the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator website where they post items we send in to them.  Recently I’ve been fortunate (along with quite a number of my ‘freaky friends’) to be featured on it.  I know that this is posted on my ‘old’ blog but it is one of my favorites so I thought I’d post it again.

This card was from an inspiration challenge that was posted somewhere.  (Sorry don’t remember where.) I do remember though it was a charm bracelet and I just LOVED the colors on it!  These colors are just so soft together.  The set is Always and I used the Polka Dotted background.  The background is stamped on Whisper White paper using Sahara Sand ink.  I stamped the heart on Sahara Sand, Soft Sky and Going Grey using Basic Grey ink.  I then cut them out (because you KNOW that is what I do best - cut things out).  The strip along the top is Chocolate Chip.  I tied a piece of Soft Sky Double-Stitched ribbon and then added Kraft and Basic Grey Taffeta ribbon.  I colored the flower from the Pretties Kit using Soft Sky ink and then added a crystal rhinestone brad from the kit.  The Soft Sky heart has dimensionals behind it to raise it up.  Okay...I think that pretty much is it.  Hope you all get to enjoy a beautiful day today!

One other thing I just thought of...I used my Versamarker to ‘color’ in some of the flowers and images.  You can’t see it really good in the scan but in real life it just makes the color a little darker which is a nice added touch!

Oh...and one last thing...who are my ‘freaky friends’?  They are this FABULOUS, EXTREMELY TALENTED group of SU demonstrators that I swap with on a regular basis.  My customers are lucky...they get to see all the awesome creations from this group!  The ‘FREAKS’ (which is how we refer to ourselves) is lead by our awesome ‘swap mom’ Lisa Martz.

Happy Stampin’!
