A Little Mojo
This is my second post for today so don’t miss my other one! When I saw the sketch for Mojo Monday this week, I just KNEW I had to use this flower that I did a while back. When it is grey and dreary like it has been around here…to me nothing seems more ‘springy’ than yellow and blue. More details inside…
Boy..hardly ANY stamping on this card but I am SERIOUSLY addicted to my Big Shot! Super simple card. Base is So Saffron. I took a piece of the designer paper from the Tall Tales pack and layered it onto Brilliant Blue. Next I took a strip of Ballet Blue, ran it through the Finial Press folder, tied a Certainly Celery Satin ribbon around it then layered it onto Brilliant Blue strips that were punched with the SAB Scallop Trim Edge punch. The flower is made from some pre-quilted fabric I found, put it through the flower fold die, used my crop-a-dile to punch a hole and then added a Summer Sun Corduroy button. The greeting is from Whimsical Words (SAB). I used my Garden Green and Brilliant Blue markers to ink it. Yep…that’s all there is to this card but doesn’t it just say SPRING to you!
Happy Stampin’

Mary,
That card is stunning! It’s so funny how we both used the same corduroy button and the same scallop edge punch and the cards are so totally different! Wonderful job!
