AGAIN!

Well May is almost over so it is just about the end of my featured stamp set being “A Little Birdie Told Me”.  I hope you have enjoyed the samples.  This is from a challenge between Connie and me.

To you get the feeling the Connie and Lisa and I REALLY enjoy being able to play ‘together’?  We REALLY do!  This time I found this card I really liked by Jen Del Muro.  So we decided to start with that.  We decided it could be any colors and that we had to use the Pretties Kit.  (The only problem was when we were finished...Connie had forgot about the Pretties kit - LOL!!!).  Oh...I think she said something like “and you can’t use Stitched Exotics”.  I just don’t understand why she says that to me! 

So I stamped my image with StazOn JetBlack ink and colored in with Ballet Blue.  I layered it onto a piece of Night of Navy.  For the yellow section I took a piece of So Saffron designer series paper and then added some 1/2” circles around it to create the scallop edge.  Next I layered on a strip of Whisper White and tied a Brocade Blue 5/8” ribbon around it.  Put some ‘pretties’ on the hat pin and put it through the ribbon.  I put a piece of Ballet Blue cardstock under the bird image and then put in some of the crystal rhinestone brads from the Pretties kit.  Oh...the little birdie layer was added on using dimensionals.

I really like the blue/yellow combo...it is just a very ‘cheery’ look!  Happy Stampin’!
