This was a make and take card Thursday night at my workshop.  Since I am featuring A Little Birdie Told me I wanted to use that.  I also wanted to use the chipboard since it is part of the Stampin’ Up! special.  And finally the hostess REALLY like birds!

We started by covering the chipboard with Only Orange CRAFT ink, covered with clear embossing powder and heat embossed.  We placed the chipboard on the card and drew a circle around the inside circle.  The 1 3/8” punch was perfect for cutting this out!  The flower was adhered to the card front using the multi-purpose glue.  We stamped the little birdie using StazOn JetBlack ink and colored with Ballet Blue ink and the AquaPainter.  The birdie was then punched out using the 1 1/4” punch.  That was layered onto a 1 3/8” circle of Old Olive and then (you can see this) on a Pumpkin Pie scallop.  The birdie is then attached to the INSIDE of the card and you can see it through the inside of the flower.

The striped paper is from Summer Picnic with a strip of Bashful Blue along the top.  We masked the larger bird with post-it notes then inked the sentiment (removed the post-it notes) and stamped this on the card.  Finally I took a piece of the wide Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, tied it in a knot and attached it with glue dots.

Now aren’t you just LOVING this set?  Happy Stampin’!
