5th Avenue Floral
Oh…how I do love this set! There is just so many things you can do with the images. I recently saw this new technique floating around in cyberspace and thought I’d give it a try. If you have a workshop with my in May, you’ll be seeing how to do this technique! What fun!

The rose is stamped in white craft on shimmery white and then embossed with clear embossing powder. Next you super wet the paper, then take drops of reinker with your AquaPainter and drop them into the various petals of the rose. You then have to sit it aside to dry. This is what takes awhile! Next I cut it out and was ready to go. The base of the card is pale plum. I took one of the prints from the walk in the park dsp and layered it onto a piece of baja breeze. I stamped the greeting from this set using perfect plum onto a piece of white. I used the eyelet border punch along the bottom. I wanted to some ribbon on this so I took a piece of the white organza ribbon and colored it using my perfect plum marker. So nothing fancy but I like the soft colors on this.
While I was playing with this technique, I made up a couple more flowers. Time to go and play with them! Until later…happy stampin’!
