Valentine Mailbox
Woo Hoo…it’s PREVIEW week on Create with Connie and Mary Occasions Edition 2012 and THE LAST DAY FOR THE EARLY BIRD SPECIAL! I wanted to do a special project for today. Do you remember those little metal $1 mailboxes from a couple years ago? They are back and in this pretty turquoise color and I couldn’t wait to make up a fun little project to share.

I’m not going to go into alot of details on how to make this as these little mailboxes are fun just to have fun and decorate however you want! For the outside of mine I added some scallop edges on each side of a strip of dsp (from the SAB Everyday Enchantment dsp pack). That’s the easiest way to do that. On the front of the mailbox, I found that our new Label Framelits are a PERFECT size for it…now trying to come up with a pattern! Isn’t that just the best?
Then I cut out some envelopes using the Bitty Box and Envelop die. I used three of the prints from the same paper. I used a little heart from the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit. I added the heart using half dimensional. The envelope flap just tucks right under it.
Aren’t these fun little cards? They are only 2 x 2 and so much fun to decorate these cute little miniatures! I just had such a good time playing with the P.S. I Love You set and some little embellishments to make these!

Very cute. I like the way you decorated this with the belly band. I have some left over that I was thinking about using in my valentine class and was hesitant because of time. The belly band would solve that problem. thanks for sharing.
