When I first saw this stamp in the catalog it honestly didn’t do ANYTHING for me!  Then I started seeing more and more wonderful things made with it so I ended up getting it.  I thought it would be perfect for the color challenge on SCS today - Cajun Craze, Tempting Turquoise and Crumb Cake.  I also took a little from Mary Jo’s Technostamper Monday Lunchtime sketch challenge this week.

As always I have to be heading out to school so some quick notes…the base of the card is Crumb Cake.  I took a piece of Tempting Turquoise, ran it through the Houndstooth embossing folder, and sponged the edges using Early Espresso.  I did a top note die in Very Vanilla, sponged the edges, stamped the greeting (using Cajun Craze and Early Espresso markers to ink it), and added to the Tempting Turquoise piece.  I wrapped a piece of the Cajun Craze 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain ribbon around this panel and then added to the card front.  I stamped the flower using Early Espresso on Cajun Craze (Fancy Flower punch), Tempting Turquoise (5 Petal Punch) and Crumb Cake (1/2” Circle Punch) and layered using Dimensionals.  I took a Crumb Cake Decorative Label punch, cut in half and sponged with Early Espresso.  Next was a Tempting Turquoise, cut in half, sponged with Early Espresso and added Cajun Craze brads.  I layered these then added to the card front using dimensionals.  I then added the flower using dimensionals.

What a cool and unusual color combo!  Okay…gotta get ready for school!  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
