Happy Wednesday everyone!  I managed to get up a little early this morning and decided to do a quick card for the sketch (and color) challenges on SCS today.  It’s a nice easy sketch so I was able to pull it together quickly!

As always…some quick notes before heading off to school!  The base of the card is Pink Pirouette.  I took a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the cups in Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, and Basic Grey.  I layered this onto a piece of Basic Grey, added a Basic Grey print from the Twitterpated dsp pack then a Pretty in Pink Scallop Edge.  This is added to the card front.  Next I stamped the greeting in Basic Grey on Pretty in Pink, cut into a banner and added to the card front using glue dots and dimensionals.  I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Basic Grey 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and a Pink Rhinestone Brad and added that to the card front.  I wanted to add just a little more to the card and had my pink rhinestones from the Blossom Builders kit and added those to the scallop edge to finish it off.

Yep…that was a fun card to make!
