I just LOVE Preview Week on Create with Connie and Mary!  It’s soooo fun to see who our wonderful designers will be for the edition.  I also like to use the stamp sets we feature for my Thursday Challenge card!  This set worked great with our fun sketch this week!

One of my favorite new products in the Occasions Mini are the new Framelits and Edgelits….LOVE ‘EM!  So along with the Take it to Heart set I featured these in my card today.  The base of the card is Pool Party.  I took a piece of Shimmery White cardstock and used the scalloped Edgelits along the bottom. Next I took a piece of Wisteria Wonder, ran it through the Polka Dotted Embossing Folder and layered it onto the Shimmery White.  I stamped the smallest heart using Versamark on Shimmery White and Pool Part, Embossed iwth Silver Embossing Powder and used the smallest heart Framelit to cut out.  These are added to the panel using dimensionals.  I stamped the modern label image from P.S. I Love You using Pool Party and the greeting from the same set using Wisteria Wonder, punched with the Modern Label Punch and added using dimensionals.  I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) by doing some loops with the Wisteria Wonder/Whisper White Bakers Twine, some Pool Party Seam Binding and a Large Clear Rhinestone Brad.  This is added to the panel and then this panel is added to the card front using dimensionals.
