Happy Thursday!  You know how I love Thursdays and the new Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!  Well this week, we have a fabulous color challenge for you that is good for Christmas or really ANY time of the year!

Okay…got that done so one to my card!  The base of the card is Poppy Parade.  I cut it at 4 x 11 (folded) so that I could add the Basic Grey Scallop Trim edge along the side and it still fit into a regular sized envelope!  I stamped the Heart using Poppy Parade and stem/leaves using Lucky Limeade on a piece of Whisper White.  This is mounted on a piece of Basic Grey and then the card front.  The Scallop Trim Basic Grey edge is on top of the Poppy Parade and I used a piece of the Lucky Limeade Striped dsp to cover that edge.  I added some Basic Rhinestones on the scallop for a little bling!  I stamped the bird using Basic Grey, cut out and added using a dimensional.  Finally I took a piece of Basic Grey, stamped the greeting in versamark and embossed using White Embossing powder, trimmed the ends to look like a banner, added two Poppy Parade Glimmer brads then added to the card front using glue dots and dimensionals.  To finish things off I added some more Basic Rhinestones around the heart.  This card is WAAAAAY more ‘blingy’ than I’m use too!  LOL!!!
