Happy Monday everyone!  Mondays are really such great day because it is time for the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge and Mary Jo has a great challenge for us again this week!

See…I told you it was a great sketch!  lately I’ve been having some fun playing with the Sweet Shop Stickers in the Occasions mini.  At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like these.  They really are ‘stickers’ and not the self-adhesive pieces that come in the Simply Scrappin’ kits but I found these are different but fun to work with and they were perfect for this challenge.  As you can see from my card, I did add a little extra to the sketch!

Some quick basics on this…the base of the card is Pool Party.  I took a piece of the Calypso Coral/Whisper White heart embossed dsp, layered it on Whisper White then to the card front using dimensionals.  Next I took a strip of Whisper White and added some of the cupcake stickers (CUTE!!!).  I used the Scallop Edge punch on a piece of Soft Suede then layered the cupcakes onto it.  I made a ‘banner’ out of a piece of Pool Party, stamped the greeting using Soft Suede ink, layered that behind the cupcake panel then added to the card front to finish it off.

See…I told you it was easy!
