Sunny Fun
Oh…it’s Summer Mini time! Lots of new stuff for us to play with so when I saw Mary Jo’s sketch, I thought of this fun Summer set right away!
I wanted to use some designer paper that I haven’t played with for a while so I picked the Sweet & Sour Specialty Paper. The base of the card is Pumpkin Pie. I took a piece of Very Vanilla and added strips of the dsp. This is mounted to Basic Black and then to the card front using dimensionals. Next I stamped the flip flops using Basic Black and colored with my Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie markers. The greeting is stamped using Basic Black. I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Pumpkin Pie 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon and a black brad. I added this to the panel and then attached to the card front using dimensionals.
