This was one of those things I bought on my first order from the new mini and am FINALLY getting around to use it!  This week on Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition 2011, we are featuring all things stockings in the mini so it was about time I broke this out!

DANG…this silver glimmer paper just makes EVERYTHING look good!  The CAS challenge was a great sketch so I couldn’t resist.  A couple quick notes (because this really is a FAST card!)  The basae is Whisper White.  I took a piece of Whisper White and embossing the greeting using Pewter Embossing Powder.  This is layered onto pool party then the card base using dimensionals.  I added 4 strips of silver glimmer paper.  Next I took a piece of Whisper White, ran through the Polka Dotted Embossing folder, rounded the corners and added to a piece of Pool Party with the corners rounded.  I did the tree from the Stocking Accents die in silver glimmer paper and added to the ‘tag’ using dimensionals.  I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Pool Party Ruffled ribbon and a silver brad, added to the tag then added the tag to the front using dimensionals.
