WOOO HOOO…today is our VERY FIRST Saturday Challenge for our subscribers of the Create with Connie and Mary Summer Edition.  But since it is our Saturday Challenge the design team shares their projects with everyone!

One of the GREAT things about the Saturday Challenges for our subscribers is each time they participate in the challenge, their name is entered into our drawing for one of TWO FREE Subscriptions to the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition or one of TWO FREE $75 Merchandise Gift Certificates.  How cool is that?

Here’s my card for today’s challenge.  We have a great color challenge for everyone.  The base of my card is Crumb Cake.  Next I took a piece of Natural White and stamped the Sail Boat using Basic Black and colored in using my Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy Markers, and Early Espresso.  I stamped COURAGE using Cherry Cobbler.  This panel is layered onto a piece of Early Espresso then the card front.  Next I took some strips of dsp from the Nautical Expedition pack, trimmed into banners and added to the card using Silver Brads.
