I got this set back in July when I went to the Stampin’ Up! Convention and had not used it (okay…had not even CUT IT OUT!) but when I saw this one inspiration piece for the SCS Inspiration Challenge today…I though it would be perfect!

I just absolutely fell in love with the colors of this bedroom on the ”>GlennaJean site (it is a children’s bedroom site).  The colors of Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade and Basic Black (from the quilt) just absolutely called my name!  I wanted to keep it very simple to feature the look of the quilt so I went with a very CAS (clean and simple) design.

The base of the card is Whisper White and I added a piece of Basic Black along the bottom.  I took another piece of Whisper White, used the scallop edge punch along the bottom then stamped large flower/Poppy Parade, small flower/Lucky Limeade, open steam-leaf image/Basic Black.  I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Basic Black Polka Dotted Ribbon and a Poppy Parade brad, added another piece of the ribbon, wrapped around this panel and then added to the card front.  I stamped the greeting using Lucky Limeade, punched with the Decorative Label punch, added a Basic Black Decorative Label (cut on the diagonal in quarters and mounted to the back), then added to the card front.  I then stamp the small flower using Poppy Parade, the outline in Basic Black, cut out, added a 1/2” Basic Black circle, a Lucky Limeade Designer Printed brad, made ‘leaves’ from Lucky Limeade and the 5 Petal Punch, then added to the label using a dimensional.

See…very quick and easy!  Okay…getting tired here so I’m off to bed!  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
