Punch Bunch 3
I thought today I’d share with you the card I did for my recent Control Freak SAB swap. What a talented group of stampers I swap with and I just LOVE getting those swaps back in the mail! Anyway…this week on Create with Connie and Mary, we are focusing in on all the wonderful exclusive sets in the Sale-a-bration brochure.
I wanted something that would be bright and happy and where I could use the buttons that came in the ribbon/button SAB option. How’s that for a way to plan a project. Next, it also had to include a ribbon that I could use. So my button choices were Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo. I decided to go with the Pacific Point buttons (so I could do blue flowers - I LOVE blue flowers) and the Daffodil Delight 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.
The base of the card is Daffodil Delight 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. I used the Tulip Frame to make a 4 x 4 frame on Crumb Cake and attached this to the card front. Next I took a piece of Whisper White and ran it through the Polka Dotted folder. I mounted this on a piece of Pacific Point then wrapped a piece of the Daffodil Delight 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon around it and secured the end with a button and a piece of Linen Thread. This is added to the card front using dimensionals. I inked the flowers using Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz markers, stamped on Whisper White and punched out with 1 1/4” circle punch. This is layered onto 1 3/8” Daffodil Delight circle and a Pacific Point Scallop circle. This is added using dimensionals.
I found some GREAT directions on using the Tulip Frame to make squares on this site “Stampin’ on the Fly”. Check it out.

This is a fun but simple card. Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
