Pretty Poinsettia
Happy Tuesday everyone! It’s time for another SUO challenge and this time our challenge is to feature our wonderful punches! I just couldn’t resist making a pretty poinsettia from the Blossom Petal Builder Punch and some red glimmer paper! Although Christmas is officially over, I don’t know about you but you can still see poinsettias everywhere!
I really wanted the flower to be the focal point so tried to keep the rest of the card pretty simple. The base of the card Crumb Cake. I took a piece of the sparkly dotted dsp from the Holly Berry Bouquet dsp pack, layered onto Real Red and then the card front. I made my big sparkly flower with the Red Glimmer paper and some Lucky Limeade, sponged on the edges. I put this all on a 1 3/8” circle as my base. I made a banner from the Petal Cone Die from Lucky Limeade and stamped Merry from Pennant Parade using Basic Black, added the banner to the card front then added the flower. I finished off the flower using the largest flower from the Boho Blossom Punch and the same sparkly dotted dsp and a Lucky Limeade Printed Designer Brad.
So pull out those punches everyone and join us for the SUO challenge! Remember is must be SUO and it MUST be a new project your created for our challenge! Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
