Playful Polka Dots
WOW…we have come to the end of another AMAZING edition of Create with Connie and Mary! This week the team each did a project using the Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin’ Kit and then for our challenge we were to use out left overs! Since this is our very last post for the session, the team does a challenge just among ourselves.
I found this little canvas at Michael’s in the $1 bin and thought it would be fun to alter it for my project today. I added a piece of the Daffodil Delight textured cardstock over the canvas and added a strip from the borders stick ons. Next I took a piece of Whisper White, added some of the striped dsp and some of the borders, layered it onto Rose Red textured cardstock and then to the canvas. I punched a 2 3/8” Rose Red Scalloped Circle, added a 1 3/8” dotted dsp circle and added that to the canvas. I added some stickers from the kit and added an Old Olive and a Rose Red button using Whisper White Baker’s Twine just to make it fun! I had one left over leaf to use and then added some more leaves by punching them from the Old Olive textured cardstock using my Build a Blossom punch. It needed just a little more so out came the Basic Rhinestones!
So that’s my little picture! You know you can still join Create with Connie and Mary and access ALL the wonderful projects we shared this session! Head on over to see what the Design Team did and to learn how you can join to access the projects.
Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
