When I saw the colors for today’s Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge, I immediately thought of the watermelon image in the Mouthwatering set. Hmmm…I wonder where the watermelon went?  LOL!!!

Now seriously…I was all set on on using the watermelon image for these colors and somehow the popsicle ended up in my hand.  Don’t these look good enough to eat?  Now if only it would hot here and then these would just be PERFECT!  I really wanted to showcase the colors so kept the overall layout pretty simple.

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White, ran the top part through the Polka Dotted Embossing Folder, layered onto a piece of Lucky Limeade, wrapped a piece of the Melon Mambo polka dotted scalloped ribbon around it then added to the card front using dimensionals. I used my Label Framelits to cut out a Whisper White label, sponged the edges in Chocolate Chip and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the popsicles twice and cut out - Melon Mambo/Chocolate Chip/Melon Mambo Polka Dotted Scallop Ribbon, Lucky Limeade/Chocolate Chip/Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and added to the label.  I stamped the greeting from the Sweet Cake set using Chocolate Chip and Lucky Limeade, stamped on Whisper White, cut into a banner and added to the card front to finish off.

this is such a fun set and I just LOVE the nice bold look of the images!
