You all know I enjoy the CAS challenge on SCS each Monday.  This week the challenge was to use twine…easy enough.  Then I checked out the Technique challenge (also on SCS) and it was to use buttons in a Christmas project.  Well…what can I say…with challenges like that cards tend to make themselves!

The base of the card is Whisper White.  I ran it through the polka dotted folder, rounded the bottom corners and then added a strip of Real Red to the top.  Too another strip of Whisper White, rounded the bottom corners (hmmm…sensing a theme…LOL!) and stamped the greeting from Merry and Type using the Real Red and Old Olive markers.  I made the holly using my Stocking Accents die, scored the ‘vein’ using the Simply Score tool and added the Real Red buttons using the Whisper White Baker’s Twine.  I added this panel to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off.
