Jack of All Trades
This was one of the those sets that was on my ‘must have’ list when the new catalog came out. I think between the pumpkins, faces and witches hat, you can get alot of ‘fall mileage’ out of it! LOL!!! Well…you know today is Thursday so you KNOW it’s time for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!

This sketch was actually inspired by a card in the Holiday Mini! I loved the look of the scallop along the side and thought and it would be a fun sketch for our team to do. I will have to say…I had ALOT of fun making this!
The base of the card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 More Mustard. Next I took a print from the Frightful Sight dsp, layered it on Basic Black, wrapped a piece of the Basic Black 1 1/4” Grosgrain Ribbon around it and added it to the card front. I took a piece of Very Vanilla, ran it through the Spider Wed Embossing folder, layered it on Basic Black and then to the card front. I took a strip of Old Olive, did the Scallop Edge punch along it, added it to the card using Gold Brads.
I punch a 1 3/4” circle from More Mustard, did direct to paper with the More Mustard pad and added that to the Very Vanilla Panel. Next I stamped the face onto Pumpkin Pie using Basic Black. Next I stamped the long pumpkin over the face on the Pumpkin Pie Paper using Versamark, covered with clear Embossing powder, embossed and cut out and added to the panel. (My fried Lisa Martz gave me a card at convention done like this and I just LOVED it!) For the hat, I inked used Basic Black CRAFT ink and stamped on Basic Grey cardstock, covered with Clear Embossing Powder and embossed. This is added to the pumpkin. It stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes with Basic Black on More Mustard, punched with Word Window Punch and added to the card front using dimensionals. Finally I did the stars in versamark…one of More Mustard (for the hat) and two on Old Olive, embossed with clear embossing powder, cut out and added to the card to finish it!
So that’s my card for today. You really need to stop by the Create with Connie and Mary site and check out what the team has done with the sketch. And while you are there…join the fun! This is the LAST WEEK to enter the challenge and have your name put into the drawing for a FREE SUBSCRIPTION to Create with Connie and Mary Holiday 11 Challenge! And all you have to do is join the challenge!
Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

Would love to see this one IRL—I’ll bet it is so glossy and shiny! Love all the colors you’ve combined here and the clear embossing is fantastic!
