I don’t remember when it was I rediscovered ‘white’ cards but I just love the look of mostly white with a little color on there.  I think mostly white cards really gives a card a simple, classy look.  This morning when I saw the colors for the SCS color challenge (Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze) I thought how pretty they would look on mostly all white so I went with it.

I have not used my Floral Fusion Sizzlit for awhile and thought those colors were perfect for some flowers.  So with this being a simple card, it honestly just about made itself!  The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White and ran the top part through the polka dotted embossing folder, then layered this on Certainly Celery.  I stamped the happy birthday from the All Holidays set using Basic Black.  I wrapped a piece of the Basic Black 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon around the card then added this to the card front using dimensionals.  Finally I did the ‘flowers’ using the three colors (Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze), put a black brad in the center of each and then attached them to the card front.

Now WHAT could be easier than that?  You really could use any three colors on this and it would be perfect every time!  Just looked out the window…looks like we are getting ready for some more storms.  I am SOOOOOOOOO done with this rain!  Going to head over to school…probably will be raining by the time I get there.  I least where I park, if I’m willing to walk further, I don’t have to go outside.  Looks like a plan to me!  So until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
