How fun is this!  I saw a using this idea of the woven paper ‘out on the net’ and thought how cool it would look with the SAB paper…I was right!  The base of the card is Crumb Cake with a strip of Pool Party going across it and a strip of Calypso Coral going up and down.  The I took another piece of Crumb cake and using my paper cutter, cut slits ever 1/4” (the ends are 1/2”).  I took four 1/2” strips of the floral print SAB dsp and woven through the slits.  Now the cool thing about this card is that sometimes you go over two, sometimes three…change it up so that is give it a different finished look from a regular weave.  Once I finished this I secured the end either on the back or wrapped around to the back.  I stamped the greeting from Sweet Cake using Early Espresso ink and added this to the card front using dimensionals.  I punch out the Blossom punch in Poppy Parade and Lucky Limeade (used to ‘petals’ for my leaves).  I stamped the image from Fresh Vintage in Pool Party on Whisper White, punched with the 1 1/4” circle punch, punch a 1/2"Calypso Coral Circle and added that to the stamped circle using a Lucky Limeade Designer Printed Brad.  I added the circle to the flower using dimensionals and then the flower to the card front using dimensionals.  Oh how fun is that!
