As soon as I saw the Sweet Sunday Sketch, this idea came to mind.  I had finished this card back on Sunday but do to other things already scheduled to post, I had to wait to show you all until today.  This is one of those that just makes me happy!

Well…it’s another one of those 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square cards.  I just LOVE this little size!  The base is Pretty in Pink.  Now right now I have very little NEW RIBBON since my box won’t be here until tomorrow so I had to improvise.  I’d like to HIGHLY recommend stocking up on ALOT of Whisper White Taffeta ribbon and ALL The markers…it makes coloring ribbon to match SOOO easy!  I used the Concord Crush marker on this…one piece for the strip and the other for the bow.  The one end is wrapped around the right side and then the dsp is layered to the card base using dimensionals.  I took a piece of Whisper White, rounded the corners and layered to the cardfront.  I took a smaller piece, rounded the corners, stamped the greeting (used Regal Rose and Concord Crush markers) and added to the card front using dimensionals.  Finally I punch some flowers from Pretty in Pink and Concord Crush using the Boho Blossom punch.  I snipped between the petals so I could bend the edges up.  The centers are Pretty in Pink and Concord Crush.  The small ones are 1/4”, the larger one is 1/2” with crystal effects on them.

All in all a pretty simple card.  I do like the pink and purple together.  Now the polka dotted dsp I used is some retired stuff but there is plenty of new paper you could use instead.  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
