First…this is my second post for today.  Make sure you check out the Sail Away card I did for the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  Today for the clean and simple challenge on SCS it was an inspiration challenge and I just LOVED the colors in there so went with that.

So when I saw this inspiration piece I loved the yellow, turquoise, orange colors in there so went with that as my inspiration.  This is such an easy card to do.

The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White and ran it through the Polka Dotted Embossing Folder and layered to the card front.  Next I took another strip of Whisper White and added a Daffodil Delight Scallop Edge strip along the top and a Tempting Turquoise strip along the bottom. 

I punch out 1” circles of Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie.  I added the matching flower button to each using white embroidery floss.  There are added to the strip.  Next I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Pumpkin Pie 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and a Turquoise Rhinestone Brad.  This is added to the strip and then that panel is added to the card front.  I inked the greeting (from the NEW Happy Greetings set) using Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie markers and stamped on the card front to finish it off.

Yep…that’s all there is to the card and what a fun card it is!  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
