Since we have another special announcement on Create with Connie and Mary again today, I wanted to share a special card I made.  I thought it would be fun to make the flowers for my ‘garden’ out of hearts and the heart from the P.S. I love you was perfect!  Oh…and I have a secret to share…tomorrow is the start of Preview week on Create with Connie and Mary ... and I’m share a cool project (with FREE TUTORIAL)...oh…and BLOG CANDY!!!

I seem to be on a bit of yellow and red Valentine’s cards right now.  You can see my other one here.  This really was a fun one to make.  The base of the card is So Saffron.  I created the ‘flowers’ by stamping the heart (from P.S. I Love You) in Real Red on Whisper White, punching with the large heart punch and layering onto a Real Red Scallop Heart (embosslit).  I punched the small flower from the Boho Blossom Punch in So Saffron, added a Real Red brad in the center and added to the flower using dimensional.  I made the ‘stems’ from the modern label punch stamp image also in the P.S. I Love You set using Pear Pizzazz on Whisper White panel, added the heart/flowers on top.  Then I punched the ‘leaves’ using the Blossom Petals punch in regular Pear Pizzazz and the Pear Pizzazz in the incolor paper pack and added to the panel.  The panel was added to the card front and Be My Valentine was stamped using Real Red.  I used my paper snips to create some ‘grass’ from a strip of Par Pizzazz, added to the card front, then finished off with a piece of the Pear Pizzazz Pleated Ribbon.
