Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween everyone! So besides being Halloween it is also the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge. I just couldn’t resist doing the two together!

I knew as soon as I saw this sketch that I just HAD to pull our my favorite Season of Friendship and then for Halloween I was going to add those cute little bats from Out on a Limb! Oh…before I talk about my card I wented to say what a FABULOUS time I had in Louisville for the regional. We got to meet up with Jan and some of her friends on Thursday night, Friday morning I did my demonstration of making my ‘bows’ (click here for the tutorial) and then AWESOME presentations in the afternoon. It was a little frightening trying to get OUT of Louisville during regional but once we achieved that (thanks to a nice man giving us directions) all was good. SU is just the BEST!
Okay…so I kind of sort of changed the sketch up…what can I say…I tried! The base of the card is Peach Parfait. I took a strip of Cajun Craze cardstock, ran it through the spiderweb embossing folder, then to the card front. Next I took a piece of the Pick Your Poison dsp, added a Basic Black scallop edge along the bottom then to the card front. I took a Very Vanilla Top Note, stamped the tree trunk in Basic Black, used a 1 3/4” reverse mask and sponged Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, and Tangerine Tango ink to make the moon. I then used a ripped piece of paper to make the clouds across the moon in Basic Grey. Next I stamped a bunch of leaves using peach Parfait, Tangerine Tango and Cajun Craze and bats in Basic Black, cut them all our and added to the tree using Glue Dots! This is added to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the greeting using Basic Black on Peach Parfait, made it into a banner, added a ‘bow’ (well…that I had made in Louisville of Friday) and added to the card front using dimensionals.
Check out what others are doing with Mary Jo’s sketch….
So…HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone! Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
