Well it’s another Saturday and another Create with Connie and Mary challenge for our Holiday Edition 2011 subscribers!  I just LOVE these challenges.  This week we have been featuring the fall stuff and I couldn’t wait to use my Gently Falling set!

I do love the colors in the Spice Cake dsp…such non-traditional fall colors!  The base of the card is Pool Party.  I took a print from the Spice Cake pack and layered a piece of Soft Suede (that I had put through the Houndstooth embossing folder) on top.  I stamped Get Well from Perfectly Penned using Soft Suede ink in the lower right corner of a piece of Very Vanilla and added to this panel.  I wrapped a piece of the Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding around this piece and added to the card front.  I stamped the solid part of the two leaves using Pear Pizzazz on Very Vanilla, added the open sketch portion using Soft Suede, cut out and added to the card front.  I finished the card off by tying some Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding through the holes of one of the GIGANTIC Spice Cake Designer Buttons and adding it to the card front using Glue Dots.
