So today on Create with Connie and Mary we have a sketch challenge.  Hmmm…this must be my week for getting STUCK because I was stuck on Mary Jo’s sketch on Monday and then I was stuck on the sketch today.  And DANG…it is even my sketch!  I designed it!  LOL!!!  Well…Fun Flowers helped me out on Monday and since I had some ‘leftover’ pieces I decided to use it again for today!

Now there’s nothing particularly hard about this sketch but once again I had that circle and my mind was drawing a blank, and drawing a blank, and drawing a blank.  So…like my card here, I decided to use some of my leftover pieces from my Fun Flowers cut out.  The base of the card is Pink Pirouette.  I took another piece of the Pink Pirouette and added half of a Top Note die from the Sahara Sand dsp Paper Pack.  Next I tied a knot in a piece of Whisper White 5/8” Satin Ribbon and wrapped it around the card.  I added a couple of pewter brads on the bottom and attached this panel to the card front using dimensionals.  Next my flower was made from largest flower Whisper White/Polka Dotted folder, middle flower Sahara Sand Vintage Wallpaper Folder and Pink Pirouette.  I added a Vintage Brad in the middle.  Next I cut the banner piece out of Pretty in Pink using the Petal Cone die, stamped the greeting from Fabulous Phrases using Basic Grey and then added it to the flower.  I finished it all off by adding the flower to the card front.

It’s kind of cool how you can use alot of the same ‘pieces’ yet get totally different looks!  How Fun!  So head on over to Create with Connie and Mary and see what the design team did with the challenge!  It is interesting how we start with the same sketch and get such completely different looks!
