I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on the new embossing folder in the Summer Mini.  The colors for the SCS color challenge today are very soft - So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Pear Pizzazz so I thought this would be perfect to match it.

As you know it’s a school day so just some quick notes.  The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of the Whisper White, ran it through the Flower Garden Embossing Folder and then use my So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz markers to add a little color to it.  This is layered onto a piece of Pretty in Pink.  I made a double ‘bow’ (click here for tutorial) using Pretty in Pink 5/8” Satin Ribbon and a green rhinestone brad.  I stamped the hellos from Happy Greetings in Pear Pizzazz on Whisper White, cut into a ‘banner’ and added to the front panel using glue dots on the ends and a double stack of dimensionals in the middle.  I added my ‘bow’ then added the panel to the card front using dimensionals.

I do love mostly white cards.  I think it is such a great way to showcase color.  I hope you all have a GREAT day!  Off to school I go….
