Festive & Fun
Mary Jo has another great sketch today and as soon as I saw it, I just knew it would be perfect for the Festive and Fun set. Even though I’m not a ‘watercolor kind of gal’ this is just soooo easy to color in with my markers.

You see what I mean? With that panel in the middle it just SCREAMS Festive and Fun! I don’t know why…but I don’t have that many sentiments that are large. I like small ones so that I can easily ‘tuck’ it onto a main image panel but large ones are great too!
Okay…a couple quick notes on this…the base of the card is Riding Hood Red and I ran it through the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I took a polka dotted Riding Hood Red piece (from the Regals dsp pack) and Old Olive Striped dsp (from the Letters to Santa dsp pack) and added it to an Early Espresso panel. Next I stamped Jolly on a piece of Watercolor paper using StazOn Jet Black ink and colored it with my Real Red and Old Olive markers. I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Riding Hood Red 3/8” Taffeta and a Clear Rhinestone Brad added it to the the bottom of the wreath and then added this to the panel. I wrapped a piece of the Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon around the panel then added this to the card front using dimensionals. Yep…a nice quick and easy card with Mary Jo’s sketch!
Here’s what others are doing with Mary Jo’s sketch…
Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
