I GOT MY NEW STUFF!!!!  Oh…I’m just SOOOO happy!  I love new stuff!  So…when I saw the sketch today on SCS I figured I would just use some NEW STUFF for it.  And thanks for my friend Karen Barber who made me pull out my Poppy Parade yesterday, I thought I would use some more of that today!

You all know how much I like simple sketches and I just LOVE white cards with a touch of color so that was what I decided to go with today.  Ooooo…Fabulous Florets!!!! I knew as soon as I saw it that it is going to be a ‘go to’ set for me throughout the summer mini.  LOVE IT!!!!  Just DELIGHTFUL!!!

The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of the Whisper White and ran it through the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder.  I took the Poppy Parade Gingham print from the Pawsitively Prints 2 dsp pack, made a ‘bow’ (click here for tutorial) from Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding and a Vintage Brad, added a piece of the seam binding before adding to the dsp and then wrapped the ends around to the back and secured there.  This is layered onto the Whisper White panel.  I added three vintage brads under the Poppy Parade and then added this panel to the Whisper White card base.  I stamped the leaf image using Pear Pizzazz and the greeting using Basic Grey.  Next I stamped the solid flower using Poppy Parade, cut out and added to the panel using dimensionals.  Next I added a Pear Pizzazz scallop edge along one side and a strip of Pear Piazzazz along the other.  The flower panel was added to the card front using dimensionals.

Oh…these colors are just SO SPRING!!!  It’s supposed to get up to the mid 60’s today so just MAYBE there will be a little spring here!  LOL!!!  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
