Happy Saturday everyone!  Today on the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition, we are having a challenge for our subscribers.  We have a color challenge and I made this card for it.  If you would like to learn more about how YOU can become part of Create with Connie and Mary visits our site!

Have you ever made something and when you are finished making it you say to yourself “WOW…that’s the prettiest thing I have ever done!”  Well, that is what happened when I made this card!  After I finished with it I was just SOOOOOO happy with it!  I think I’ll have to send it to my dad for Thanksgiving…he’d appreciate it!

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 More Mustard.  I took a 4 x 4 piece of More Mustard, ran it through the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder.  I added a piece of the Autumn Spice dsp and wrapped a piece of the Very Vanilla Seam Binding around it and tied on the side with a piece of Linen Thread.  This is layered onto the card front using dimensionals.  Next I inked the greeting using Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso markers, stamped on Very Vanilla and punched with the Decorative Label punch.  I then punched to more decorative labels from Early Espresso and layered behind the greeting before adding to the card front using dimensionals.

Oh the leaves!!!  Aren’t they SOOOOO pretty?  I stamped the leaf image using versamark on Old Olive, More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso, embossed with gold embossing powder and cut out and layered onto the card front.  I think it is the gold embossed leaves that just made me LOVE this card!  There is so much texture to this card, it just pops off the front!

So that is my card for today!  Thank you all for stopping by.  If you want to learn more about Create with Connie and Mary and join our 8 week subscription (cost $39.95) please visit the Create with Connie and Mary website!  It’s not too late!

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
