I took a quick look at the CAS challenge on SCS before I was getting ready to go to bed and saw it was a theme challenge…CUPCAKES!!!  Oh…now THAT’S a FUN ONE…so I grabbed my cupcake stuff and put together this quick CAS card.

Some quick notes so I can be off to bed!  The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White, ran it through the striped embossing folder, wrapped a piece of the Melon Mambo Scalloped Polka Dotted Ribbon around this layer and added to the card base.  I stamped the ‘icing’ in Melon Mambo with Chocolate Chip ‘sprinkles’, the base in Chocolate Chip, and punched with the Build a Cupcake punch.  I made the banner out of Pink Pirouette, stamped the greeting using Chocolate Chip.  I punched a 1 3/4” Whisper White Circle, layered onto Chocolate Chip then to a Melon Mambo 2 3/8” Scallop Circle.  I had a 3” Silver Glimmer circle sitting on my desk and that that would be fun on the card.  I punch the center out of this circle so the top layers will adhere better.  This is all layered onto the card front.  I added the banner to the Whisper White Circle then added the cupcake using dimensionals.  Finally I had a little silver glimmer heart sitting on my desk so I added that too!
